The Qatar World Cup 2022 group stage and the last sixteen games are over. This time the teams will play in the quarter-finals with the aim of winning the title. The eight teams in the quarter-finals are Croatia, Brazil, Portugal, England, Argentina, France, Netherlands, and Morocco. Who will win the title among these eight teams?
The quarter-finals are done. Brazil will face Croatia in Al Rayyan’s first match on Friday. The Netherlands will face Argentina in another quarter-final that day. Morocco will play Portugal in two of the quarter-final matches on Saturday, while France will face England in the other.

Brazil vs Croatia
The statistics, however, are in favor of Brazil. So far Selesaora has not lost any kind of match against Croatia. Their first obstacle on the way is Croatia. However, the past statistics do not concern Tita’s disciples much. Brazil has won three of the four meetings between the two teams so far. The international friendly between the two countries in 2005 only ended in a 1-1 draw.
Argentina vs Netherlands
The two teams first met in 1974 in an international friendly. Cruyff-led Netherlands won that match 4-1. A month later, the Dutch defeated Argentina 4-0 on the FIFA World Cup stage again.

Argentina took revenge for that loss in 1978. Albiceleste defeated the Dutch 3-1 under the leadership of Mario Kempes. In 1998, world football saw the Netherlands-Argentina fight in the FIFA World Cup again. In the quarter-finals of the tournament organized in France, Argentina left the tournament with a 2-1 defeat against the Dutch. After 20 years, Argentina met the Netherlands again on the World Cup stage in 1998. The Dutch also won the service 2-1.
Morocco vs Portugal
Formerly again, Portugal reached the quarter- tests of the World Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo came a little near to winning the fugitive World Cup by playing the last possible World Cup. In the alternate round, they beat Switzerland by 6- 1 to reach the diggings.
England vs France
The two brigades last met on the World Cup stage 40 times ago in the 1982 World Cup. England beat France 3- 1. still, England is relatively before in recent competitions. In the last six matches against each other, the English have managed to win only one match. On the other hand, France won four. Overall, France and England have met 31 times since 1923. Among them, England won 17 times and France 9 times.
