
England’s white-ball captain Josh Buttler has been selected as the ICC’s men’s cricketer of the month for November. Pakistan’s opener Sidra Amin became the best in women’s cricket. On Tuesday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the names of the two best players of the month of November.
England won the T20 World Cup which ended last month.
Captain Butler played a big role in England’s title win. Butler scored 207 runs in two half-centuries after batting four innings at the World Cup held last month. Buttler played an unbeaten 80 against India in the semi-final and 73 against New Zealand in the group stage. Then he scored 30 runs in two innings of the ODI series against Australia.

England’s Adil Rashid and Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi were also nominated along with Butler in last month’s Man of the Month race. On the other hand, Pakistan’s Sidra Amin scored 277 runs with a century and a half-century each in the three-match ODI series against Ireland at home in November. Along with this Pakistani opener, Thailand’s Nathakan Chantham and Ireland’s Gabby Lewis were nominated in women’s cricket.
